# NLWeb Schema Feeds

A schemamap: directive in robots.txt points agents at machine-readable feeds of your structured data.

## What it checks

The extension reads `robots.txt` and looks for `schemamap:` directives, the NLWeb Schema Feeds convention for pointing agents to a Schema Map XML file that lists a site’s structured-data feeds. It does not fetch the Schema Map itself.

## Results

| Status   | When                                                      |
| -------- | --------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Pass** | `robots.txt` contains one or more `schemamap:` directives |
| **N/A**  | No `schemamap:` directive was found                       |

## How to fix

If you publish feeds of your structured data, add a `schemamap:` line to `robots.txt` pointing to your Schema Map file:

Allow: /

Sitemap: https://example.com/sitemap.xml
schemamap: https://example.com/schemamap.xml
```
